Today French car company Renault has introduced its new electric car Renault 5 EV to the world.
Vehicle manufacturers from all over the world are participating in this motor show which will run till March 3 in Geneva city, Switzerland.
In Renault 5 EV, the company has given a wheelbase of 2540 mm, apart from this the company is also saying that its flat floorbed can be extended further.
Talking about performance, as per the WLTP test, Renault 5 EV is set to be launched with a 52kWh battery pack powering the front-mounted electric motor.
The battery pack is a 26.8kWh unit that takes 4 hours to fully charge using a 6.6kWh AC charging source.
DC fast charging is also supported by the City K-ZE and can charge the batteries from 30 to 80 per cent in just half an hour.
Renault has packed in an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 4G WiFi connectivity, online music support
remote vehicle telemetry, a PM2.5 air quality sensor and a tyre pressure monitoring system on the City K-ZE.
